Nottingham Forest have announced their retained list as the 2015/16 season comes to an end with three players being released on a free, but talismanic Andy Reid may remain at the club.
German midfielder Robert Tesche, Scotland international Chris Burke and defender Kelvin Wilson are the three players that have been told they are free to find new clubs as their contracts come to an end.
Veteran playmaker Andy Reid is also out of contract, but the Reds are in negotiations with the Irishman about prolonging his stay at the City Ground, although it is unclear what sort of deal has been offered.
Reid has not played a first team game since being stretchered off in Forest’s 1-1 draw with bitter rivals Derby in September 2014 and may be offered a pay-as-you-play deal with doubts over his fitness.
He may be offered a coaching deal after helping out interim boss Paul Williams following the sacking of Dougie Freedman in March.
Outgoing Robert Tesche may not have far to look for a football club, the German has already been linked with Gary Rowett’s Birmingham City where he spent some time on loan in 2015.
Winger Jamie Paterson and Dutchman Lars Veldwijk are returning to the City Ground after loan spells at Huddersfield Town and FC Zwolle respectively.
