A motorcyclist has died after a late-night crash on the A52 at Radcliffe-on-Trent.
The collision happened just after 10.30pm on Friday and involved a motorcycle travelling away from Nottingham and a light coloured car travelling in the opposite direction.
The male motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries.
Notts Police also said a 17-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The road remained closed throughout the night but has now reopened.
Anyone who saw anything or has any information about the crash is asked to call Notts Police on 101, quoting incident 959 of May 27.
