Nottingham Forest will hold a minute silence ahead of their game with Newcastle United on Friday (December 2) to honour those who died in the Chapocoense plane crash.

Members of the Brazilian Serie A football team Chapecoense, including 19 players, were on board the aircraft and among the 71 people that died in the crash on Monday (November 28) as the plane travelled to Medellin in Colombia.

The team was due to play against Atletico Nacional in the final of the Copa Sudamericana on Wednesday (November 30).

Both sets of players will also be wearing black armbands for the match at The City Ground as the football community comes together to pay tribute to those who lost their lives.
