Nottinghamshire Outlaws v Derbyshire Falcons T20 Blast clash rained off

Nottinghamshire Outlaws’ clash against local rival Derbyshire Falcons was rained off without a ball being bowled.

Due to start at 7.15pm, the match was called off shortly after 8.05pm with rain falling consistently during that time.

It would have taken 75 minutes for the groundsmen to have got the ground ready with a cut off time of 9.42pm to fit in a five over game.

Outlaws fans will have to wait longerĀ to see world T20 winner Andre Russell in action.

The Outlaws will now be looking to kick on in the Natwest T20 Blast against Yorkshire Vikings on Friday June 17 after their first T20 victory of the year was earnedĀ in their last match against Lancashire Lightning.

Nottinghamshire face Lancashire at Old Trafford in their next match in a Royal London One Day Cup clash to be played on Sunday June 12.
