Tony Fisher stabbing: Police arrest three more men

Three more men have been arrested in connection with the death of Tony Fisher.

The 58-year-old was found stabbed to death at his home in Coningswath Road, Carlton on January 9.

Notts Police announced on Thursday they had detained three more men, charging one of them.

Simon Palmer, aged 43, of Daybrook, has been charged with conspiracy to rob and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

The other two men have been released on police bail.

Marcus Barton, 42, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood, Jaydon Roberts Barton, 21, of Curzon Gardens, St Ann’s, and Nathan Barton, 23, of Heathfield Avenue, Basford, have already been charged with the murder of Mr Fisher.

They are all awaiting trial at Leicester Crown Court on Wednesday, November 16.
