The Great Food and Drink Festival returns to Nottingham Castle this month with Antonio Carluccio confirmed as one of the chefs giving live demonstrations.
The event runs from May 27 until May 29 on Nottingham Castle grounds for a third straight year.
World famous Italian chef Carluccio will be one of six chefs giving live demonstrations.
Carluccio, founder of the Italian restaurant chain ‘Carluccio’s’ is known as the ‘Godfather of Italian Gastronomy’ and was part of the duo ‘The Two Greedy Italians’ with Gennaro Contaldo.
Other local and international chefs include Daniel Burridge from Hart’s Hotel in Nottingham and French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
A spokesman from the event said: “A whole host of great food and drink stands will line the castle grounds, allowing your senses to run wild as you walk around the venue taking in all the delightful aromas from cuisines from all around the world.”
One of the bars featured at the 2017 event will be a double-decker bus serving drinks with seating at the top of the bus.
