Nottingham City Transport has joined forces with the Campaign for Real Ale to produce a guide to the best pubs on the NCT bus network.
The guide gives details of the top 50 pubs in Nottinghamshire where ale fans can enjoy a pint safe in the knowledge they won’t have to walk far to get a bus home.
Nigel Rowson, a real ale fan from Woodthorpe said: “I’m looking forward to seeing what new pubs have been added to the guide this year.”
“My wife and I can just hop on a bus, find somewhere new, enjoy a couple of pints before we’re driven home again – it’s brilliant!”
Alan Ward, from CAMRA Nottingham (pictured above on the right), said: “Real ale is obviously our passion and we take it very seriously, but drinking responsibly is something our members take equally seriously.”
“The ‘Beer by Bus’ guide not only promotes some of the best places in the area to have a drink, it also encourages ale-lovers to leave their cars at home – making it safer and more enjoyable for everyone.”
