Boy, 11, knocked off his bike by van in hit-and-run incident in Sutton-in-Ashfield

An 11-year-old boy has been knocked off his bike in a hit-and-run incident in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

At around 4.45pm on Sunday (October 22) on Carsic Lane, the boy was riding his bike when he was hit by a silver / grey transit van, knocking him off.

The boy was left injured as the van continued on its journey and he sustained minor injuries.

The van then turned onto Davis Avenue and it’s believed there were three occupants in the van at the time of the collision.

Police have launched an appeal for information – if you have any information or may have been in the area at the time of the incident, you are asked to call Notts Police on 101 quoting incident number 634 of September 22.
