Brendan Taylor breaks 13 year record as Notts draw with Durham

Brendan Taylor became the first Nottinghamshire batsmen to score two centuries in the same match for 13 years as Notts drew against Durham.
The ex-Zimbabwe international scored 114 in Notts’ first innings at Trent Bridge as he helped to steer the side to 534 all out.
His second innings total of 105 not out made him the first Notts batsman since Russell Warren at Lord’s in 2003 to achieve the feat of scoring two centuries in a match.
Notts made 289/5 in the second innings after Durham made 447 with Scott Borthwick scoring 188 not out.
Both sides took 12 points as rain hampered the end of the match.
The result leaves Durham top of the County Championship Division One table with Nottinghamshire in fifth.
