Police evacuated Broadmarsh Bus Station in Nottingham after a false bomb threat.
People were asked to leave around 11.35am with buses unable to serve the station and the car park also briefly closed.
Nottingham Travelwise, based at the City Council traffic control centre, said the incident had been declared over by around 11.50am and the station had been-re-opened.
A police spokesman said: “Nottinghamshire Police was made aware by security at the Broadmarsh shopping centre of a bomb threat having been made.
“As a result of the call, the shopping centre took the decision to evacuate the bus station as a precaution.
“The bus station has now been re-opened. The call is being treated as a false and malicious phone call.”
