Car crashes through Nottingham furniture shop window

A car has crashed through the window of the Multiyork furniture shop on Castle Boulevard leaving glass and debris strewn inside the shop and across the pavement outside.

When Police arrived in the early hours of the morning, the car had been abandoned. The crash is believed to have caused thousands of pounds of damage.

The car, which was a BMW, has now been removed and the shop has been boarded up.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 33 of April 16.
