Conservative candidate Robert Jenrick holds the Newark seat after receiving 29,834 votes.
Labour’s party candidate, Michael Payne came in at second with a total of 11,360. UKIP’s Brian Mapletoft came in third with 6,294 votes.
Newark had a 70.9% turnout with 52,302 votes overall.
