Delays built up on two major Nottingham city centre roads after a two-car crash.
Pictures showed the wreckage of two vehicles at the junction of Huntingdon Street and Mansfield Road at around 10.30am on Wednesday (February 7).
Long delays built up on both routes while emergency services dealt with the incident. Notts Police attended along with a recovery vehicle to clear the road.
A Notts Police spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a collision at around 10.30am involving two cars. No injuries were reported. There were also reports of a lorry blocking the road at the scene.”
Nottingham Travelwise tweeted at the time: “Two car RTC at junction of A60 Mansfield Road junction with Huntingdon Street. All A60 inbound traffic is being diverted down Huntingdon Street. Police have also taken out one lane on Mansfield Road outbound.”
