There are delays to the Nottingham tram network after a woman was hit by a tram on Wednesday morning.
Tram operator NET said the accident happened near the Bulwell tram stop just before 11am.
An NET spokesman said: “A tram was involved in a collision with a pedestrian this morning close to our Bulwell stop.
“The pedestrian has been taken to hospital by ambulance and the incident has caused some delays to our services. We hope to have a full service running again soon.
“We are currently investigating the incident and we are unable to comment further until this investigation has been completed.”
Notts Police were called to the scene alongside paramedics.
A force spokesman said: “Officers were called just before 11am to reports a pedestrian had been in collision with a tram. A woman was taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be serious.”
In a Facebook update NET posted: “We currently have delays to service. NCT [buses] are accepting our tickets from Bulwell.”
Trams are not currently running through Bulwell tram stop at all while the scene of the accident is examined.
Anyone travelling from Bulwell to the city is being urged to use the 17, 68, 69 bus services from Bulwell station.
Trent Barton 3 services are accepting tram tickets from Hucknall and Butler’s Hill.

To get to Bulwell from Nottingham you can use a 68 or 69 bus from David Lane.
NET also said a tram shuttle service is running from Hucknall to Bulwell Forest, where passengers can then get on NCT bus number 17 into the city.
