Edible flowers

A business in the city centre doesn’t sell your ordinary flowers, everything you see in their store you can eat.

Ahmad Noori has created his own business called Edible Blossoms, where he works on creating edible bouquets as a work of art.

The business on Lower Parliament Street has only been set up for a few months, but the owner says customers love his fresh fruit arrangements in place of traditional bunches of flowers.

The former florist loves creating his bespoke bouquets out of all kinds of fruit and vegetables and says it’s quite a difficult job to do.

With some hospital wards banning flowers now, many customers are also taking his edible plants to ill patients.

Mr Noori says his favourite part of the job is seeing peoples expressions when he hands them their orders.

They are all very excited and they say wow, they say it’s beautiful and they’ve never seen this before. All my customers say wow.

The company is already working on their special Christmas arrangements due to their high demands.

Ahmad says their fruit and vegetables are delivered daily to the store so that they’re constantly fresh. He also offers fruit dipped in chocolate which he gets all the way from Belgium.
