Elderly man in serious condition after Sherwood road accident
A 93-year-old pedestrian is in a serious condition in hospital after being injured in a road traffic accident in Sherwood.
The incident happened around 11.40am on Friday morning on Mansfield Road, close to the Devon Drive junction.
Police say the collision involved a red Vauxhall Zafira.
The elderly man remains in a serious, but stable condition at the Queen’s Medical Centre.
Police are urging anyone with information to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
