Police say a report of a man approaching two young schoolgirls turned out not to be suspicious.
Police said on Tuesday they were investigating after two pupils at Beeston Rylands Junior School reported they had been approached as they walked to class.
Officers said the girls were unharmed after reporting they had been spoken to by a man in a van.
Extra patrols were put in place but late on Wednesday morning officers said they were no longer treating the incident as suspicious after speaking to the pupils involved.
The school on Trent Road teaches children aged seven to 11 and has around 150 pupils.
