Video: Montanier on Forest needing to play well in both halves of a match
Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier wants Forest to play well in both halves of a match as Wolves visit the City Ground on Saturday (December 17).
Montanier has been critical of the Reds not performing consistently in both halves of the matches against Derby and Preston where Forest have picked up one point out of six available.
Forest currently sit 16th in the Sky Bet Championship after 21 games on 26 points with their opposition Wolves currently placed in 20th on 22 points.
I was satisfied with the second half but the first was awful
Montanier said: “When we played Preston, I was satisfied with the second half but, for sure, the first half was awful.
“I don’t know why because the players were all determined after Derby but we don’t have good energy.
“But the second half was good and we came close to winning the game.
“We perhaps deserved to lose based on the first half and deserved to win based on the second!”

Last season, both teams picked up two points from each other after playing out two 1-1 draws.
At the City Ground on April 30, Joe Mason scored in the 58th minute to put Wolves one up before Gary Gardner equalised 10 minutes later.
In the reverse fixture at Molineux on December 11 2015, Ethan Ebanks-Landell scored in the 15th minute before Dexter Blackstock netted in the 80th minute to salvage a point for the visitors.
