Samantha Ho, 39, was found dead by armed officers at a house on Curlew Place in St Neots, Cambridge on Saturday.

Cambridgeshire Police confirmed a post-mortem examination has found that Ms Ho died after suffering multiple cuts to her neck.

A man has been charged with her murder.

Armed police arrived at the scene at about 11pm on Saturday after they were contacted by the ambulance service.

He appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court earlier this week and has been remanded in custody to appear in Cambridge Crown Court on September 4 at 10am.

Cambridgeshire Police have said: “The death is being treated as an isolated incident and no one else is being sought in connection”.
