Is the ‘GAP kids promo’ sexist?

Clothing company GAP has been criticised after Twitter users said the company had sent out a promotional email which could be seen as sexist.

The image showed a young boy and girl, with the boy wearing an Albert Einstein t-shirt and branded a ‘scholar’ and the girl wearing a jumper with a pink ‘G’ on it and badged a ‘social butterfly’.

Some people said the picture promoted gender stereotypes – we asked the people of Notts what they think.
