A healthcare assistant has been charged with carrying out a string of sex offences at a Nottinghamshire mental health unit.
Robert Roberts, 59, of, Hathersage Way, Sutton in Ashfield, is charged with 14 counts of sexual assault and two of rape.
Notts Police said the attacks are alleged to have taken place at Millbrook Mental Health Unit at Kingsmill Hospital, near Sutton in Ashfield, in 2014.
The unit is an inpatient hospital with two adult mental health wards, one psychiatric intensive care unit and two older people’s units.
It also has outpatient clinics, a crisis team and volunteering service and is run by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
Roberts is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 25 July 2016.
