Nottingham Forest have confirmed that midfielder, Henri Lansbury will stay with club after offers made by rivals, Burnly last week.
Lansbury was the subject of a £4m bid from rivals Burnley last week, which would have meant moving him from the club this summer.
Fawaz Al Hasawi, the clubs owner and chair man published a picture of him and the star midfielder on Twitter, saying: “Henri is staying with us COYR#nffc”.
A statement on Forest’s official website reads:
“Nottingham Forest have confirmed the situation regarding Henri Lansbury’s future at the club.
“The 24-year-old has declared his intention to stay at Forest following a conversation with owner and chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi.
“The club welcome Lansbury’s decision and will now move forward with him in their plans.”
