An IMAX Film Festival is coming to Cineworld at the Cornerhouse in Nottingham.

Film goers can come for a full day of blockbuster hits at the cinema on Saturday, April 8.

Films including The Jungle Book, Star Wars: Force Awakens, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and The Martian will be showing throughout the day.

Paul Willden, General Manager of Cineworld Nottingham, said: “Following the massive success of the IMAX Film Festival last year, I am thrilled to give film fans the chance to experience the East Midland’s only IMAX screen and reveal our newly refurbished auditorium on that day too.

“With films running from 10am to 11:40pm, there’s ample opportunity for everyone to pay us a visit and spend a few hours experiencing everything IMAX has to offer.”

Last year’s event sold out and with tickets costing £3 per person, including 3D glasses, Cineworld is recommending film-goers book in advance.

All showings will be presented in IMAX 3D and the two most popular films will also be given an additional screening either early morning or late evening.
