A 27-year-old man died and another man was seriously hurt in a crash between a car and motorcycle on a busy street in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Diamond Avenue at 4.40pm on Tuesday (Ocotber 24).
The 27-year-old died at the scene, police say, and a 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
A Notts Police spokesman said: “A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the collision and released under investigation pending further enquiries.
“Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision, and particularly from anyone who may have dash-cam footage from this time.”
