A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder after a 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of an incident.
Steven Wooley, of Manvers Court, has been charged with murder and appeared at Magistrates Court on Sunday (August 27).
Officers were called to an address at Walton Court in Carlton at around 5.30am on Saturday (August 26) where a 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old man who was arrested in relation to the incident has been released without charge.
Notts Police have reassured the community there is no reason to believe there is any risk of harm to the wider community as a result of the incident.
