A 67-year-old man has died following a single vehicle collision on the A453 at Clifton near to the Crusader island on Monday (November 20).
Notts Police were called just before 6.35pm to the report of the collision.
Ambulance crews attended and conveyed the man – the driver and single occupant of the vehicle – to the QMC where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Detectives from the East Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit also attended the scene as they work to establish what happened.
Detectives are not currently looking for any further witnesses or vehicles in connection with the incident.
