Man arrested after being injured in crash between police car and e-bike

A man was taken to hospital and later arrested after the e-bike he was riding was involved in a crash with a police car in Nottingham.
The collision happened in Marmion Road, St Ann’s, at 3.15pm on Thursday (June 19).
Notts Police said the 26-year-old rider was hurt after the car and electric bike collided. The man was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg, although his injury is not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering.
One police officer also went to hospital for a precautionary check-up after the crash.
The force said on Friday (June 20) the rider has now been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including dangerous driving and having no licence or insurance.
