Man arrested and charged in connection with Victoria Centre stabbing

A police cordon was in place at the Victoria Centre after the attack.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged by police in connection with a stabbing which happened inside the Victoria Centre in Nottingham.

Police cordoned off part of the centre after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the leg at around 2.10pm on Sunday, June 17.

Notts Police said on Tuesday (June 26) Aziah McKenzie-McKenna of Lyndhurst Road, Sneinton, has been arrested and charged with wounding with intent, possession of a sharp pointed article in a public place and possessing cannabis.

The 18-year-old is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (June 27).
