A 29-year-old man from the Meadows has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with a second Sneinton stabbing.
It comes as part of the murder inquiry into the death of a 38-year-old man, named locally as Junior Fuller.
He was found with stab wounds to his chest on Mill View Close in the early hours of Sunday, December 11 and later died from his injuries.
Another Sneinton man, Martin Maughan, was also stabbed to death in a separate incident on West Walk less than 24 hours before the death of Mr Fuller.
It led to Mr Maughan’s mother to call for an end to knife crime. The two were known to be friends, although police say they are treating the two incidents as unrelated.
Anyone who has any information that can help is asked to contact Notts Police on 101, quoting incident 174 of December 11 2016.
