A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after two men were injured in Mansfield Road.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to an address in Mansfield Road, Nottingham, at around 9:30pm.
One man was taken to hospital after receiving injuries to his legs.
A second man drove himself to the QMC having suffered injuries to his head and arm and is still in hospital.
Police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and remains in police custody.
Officers are asking anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number 914.
