Man charged with attempted murder after Southwell incident

A man has appeared at court charged with attempted murder after an incident in Southwell.

Police were called to an address in Farthingate Close to a report of an assault, at about 3.30am on Friday June 10.

Police found a man with serious injuries and he was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical centre.

He has since been discharged and is recovering at home.

Thomas Farrow, 29, of Farthingate Close, Southwell, appeared, at Nottinghamshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, charged with attempted murder.

He has been remanded into custody to appear at Nottingham
Crown Court.
