Man charged with number of burglary and car theft offences

A 27-year-old man has appeared in court in connection with a series of burglary and theft offences.

Jack Carlisle, of no fixed address, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Monday (September 4).

He was charged with five house burglaries, one attempted house burglary, one non-dwelling burglary, two charges of theft of a motor vehicle, one charge of aggravated taking of a vehicle without the owner’s consent and one charge of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

He was also charged with one offence of taking fuel without paying and driving while disqualified.

Carlisle was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on October 2.
