A man has been charged following an incident in the city centre on Wednesday (August 16).
Martin James Powell, 36, of no fixed abode, has been charged with kidnap, assault, indecent exposure and breach of a court order requirement.
The incident, in which a man allegedly attempted to take a child from her family, took place on St Peter’s Gate at around 3pm on Wednesday.
He will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (August 18).
