A man was attacked in Sherwood and left with facial injuries with after telling three boys to get down from a roof.
Notts Police described the attack, on Mansfield Road, as “nasty” and have released a CCTV image of someone they want to speak to.
Officers say the victim saw the three boys “messing around” at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 19.
After they were told to get down, the victim was attacked and needed hospital treatment.
The boys were all black, one was said to be around 6ft tall, about 15, and of a slim build. He was wearing a black top with a white pattern and black bottoms. The other two were around 5ft tall and around eight to 12-years-old and were both wearing black.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 and give the incident number 738 of September 19.
