Man left with cuts after being pushed through barber shop window in Nottingham

A cordon was put in place in Nottingham after a man was pushed through a barber shop window.

The incident happened after an altercation outside The Cutfather in Upper Parliament Street at around 4.15am today (Friday, November 1).

The 20-year-old victim was found lying on the floor in front of the shop and had suffered cuts to his leg and wrist.

Nottinghamshire Police say the victim was taken to hospital shortly after the incident but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The area has been cordoned off while police continue their inquiries and check CCTV.

Blood and broken glass could be seen on the floor and around the cordon, and a single officer was manning the scene at 8.30am on Friday.

Nottinghamshire Police have launched a public appeal and say anyone with information that could assist the investigation should call 101, quoting incident 85 of November 1.
