Pete Hewitt, Nottingham’s own MasterChef finalist, will be making an appearance at the Nottinghamshire County Show.
The show is taking place at Newark Showground on May 8 and 9 and organisers are expecting over 30,000 visitors.
Pete, who is from Clifton, will be on hand in the Food Experience zone on both days of the event to answer Q&As from the crowd as well as try some of the food cooked by chefs in the marquee.
He said: “It is really exciting to be part of the Nottinghamshire County Show this year and to have the chance to be on the other side of table tasting dishes, rather than cooking for someone else!”

“The show always has a fantastic array of vendors who have some delicious food for visitors to buy.”
Pete got to the final in the high pressure cooking show but lost out to Simon Wood from Oldham.
Jane Olney, show manager of the Nottinghamshire County Show, said: “We’re delighted that Pete is joining us this year and we can’t wait to hear about his experiences of MasterChef.”
“We’re always keen to highlight local produce and Nottinghamshire does have a lot to offer when it comes to food.”
