Meadows man, 27, arrested in connection with three armed robberies

A 27-year-old man from The Meadows has been arrested in connection with three armed robberies at three different Nottinghamshire pubs and bars.

Three masked men carried out the robberies at The Harvester on Castle Bridge Road, Castle Marina on July 9, the Riverbank Bar and Kitchen on Trent Bridge on July 24 and the Nottingham Knight pub in Ruddington on August 9.

Knives and other weapons were used to hold up members of staff at closing time and to steal cash from safes.

Police are questioning the 27-year-old on suspicion of robbery in connection with each incident and are appealing for information to identify further suspects.
