Nottingham’s Hockley Hustle is returning to some of the city’s most iconic venues for the 18th year.

The event has raised more than £200,000 for charity since 2006 and this year will have in excess of 400 performers at 50 venues across Nottingham.

The event runs on Sunday (October 20) and includes acts such as JayaHadADream, who recently performed at Glastonbury.

The event is aimed at both adults and children with the ‘Young Hustlers’ event held in Sneinton Market.

Bodega will host a range of indie, rock, funk and acoustic music, with other venues such as Brewdog playing metal music and techno.

Rough Trade will have emo and electronic acts and the Angel Microbrewery will have more than 20 acts performing.

Hockley Hustle producer Laurie Illinghworth said: “Hockley Hustle is our city’s most diverse music and arts festival.

“This year is the biggest festival we’ve ever had,” he added.

Laurie added; “In terms of genres there is something for everybody.”

Fellow Producer Caetano Capurro said: “The Bodega upstairs is really stacked, we’ve got some really incredible Nottingham-based bands.

“Nottingham is just a brilliant city when it comes to our music scene and we have arguably the strongest music scene in the midlands,” he added.

Events start at 11 am with some late night events running until 3 am.

A range of music from rock to jazz will be played at the event which has supported over 15 charities such as Base 51, Nottingham Refugee Forum and Nottingham Women’s Centre.
