A motorcyclist is recovering in hospital after an accident on the A60 Mansfield Road in Daybrook on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to the route at the junction with Byron Street, outside the former Home Ales brewery.
Notts police say the rider was hurt after a collision with a car at around 9.15pm.
The motorcyclist suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Police closed off a lane on the A60 and re-opened it around 10.20pm.
