Watch: Newark’s fighting family hoping to take the world by storm

A Newark family is hoping to produce a trio of household names with three brothers all involved in boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts.

The Sugdens first made a name for themselves in Notts with dad Dean Sugden the help of Suggy’s Gym – run in Newark by dad and coach Dean Sugden, himself a former world kickboxing champion.

And His three sons Chad, Regis and Bailey are following in his footsteps.

Chad, 23, also a former kickboxer, is now making a name for himself as a middleweight boxer and will be going for his fifth win in six fights at Bingham Leisure Centre on June 24.

Bailey ‘BadBoy’ Sugden, 19, will appear at Madison Square Garden, New York, for a July 14 kickboxing card.

And Regis, 21, is an MMA fighter who has four wins from his first five fights in the sport after a long spell in pro and amateur kickboxing.
