Nottingham couple turning their cats into film stars on Instagram

A Nottingham couple have traded Hollywood icons for hairier co-stars, recreating famous movie scenes on Instagram with their cats.
So far David Mew and Sarah Chapman’s pets have starred in ET, The Shining and Alien on their account Moviecats.
Their imaginative images have gained over 6000 followers in just nine weeks, when they first styled their cat as ET.
The couple take the photos using homemade props to resemble those from the film.
Then they replace a main character from the famous movie scene with either Tara or Willow, their Burmese cats.
