Nottingham Forest’s games against Newcastle and Derby moved for TV coverage

Two of Nottingham Forest’s biggest games of the season have been moved due to television coverage.
The Reds’ home match against promotion-chasing Newcastle United has been changed to a Friday night (December 20) and will kick-off at 7.45pm.
Forest’s first East Midlands derby of the campaign, against arch-rivals Derby County, will now be played on Sunday, December 11, at the iPro Stadium (kick-off 12pm).

Both games will be shown live on Sky Sports.
The Reds’ last home league encounter against the Magpies resulted in triumph in 2009, as Dexter Blackstock hit the winner on the stroke of half-time to seal a richly-deserved three points for Billy Davies’ men on Trentside.
Philippe Montanier will get his first flavour of life in the dugout against the Rams on the other end of the Brian Clough Way, and Forest’s last victory on enemy soil came in January 2015 when a late Ben Osborn effort secured the bragging rights under ex-boss Stuart Pearce.
Forest’s game against Preston North End at the City Ground will now take place on Wednesday, December 14 (kick-off 7.45pm).
