Nottingham tram works: Improved access to Farnborough Road in Clifton

Vehicles will once again be able to turn in to Farnborough Road from Nottingham Road from Monday after tram works had disrupted the flow of traffic in Clifton.

Farnborough Road will be a two way street from its junction with Nottingham Road to its junction with Bransdale Road and then one way to Holy Trinity.

A statement from the Nottingham Express Transit said: “These access improvements are being put in place to help traffic get in to Clifton following the Highways Agency’s closure of the right turn from the A453.”

“Because of these changes, Nottingham City Transport buses will be able to use Farnborough Road and better serve the Nobel Road and Hartness Road areas.”

Completion of the tram works on the road will continue under the new traffic arrangements.
