Posh Spice: the former restaurant is being redeveloped by Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) have bought the land on which an Indian restaurant burnt down in 2010.

The aim is to regenerate it once the demolition is complete.

Preparation for the demolition of the former Posh Spice restaurant on Goldsmith Street started on February 16.

The work is expected to take between eight and 12 weeks.

Once the site is demolished, NTU are keen to regenerate the site and are already planning proposals for its future use.
