Video: Officials discovered the fresh damage on Sunday
Off-road motorcyclists have ripped up land at a Nottinghamshire golf course for the second time in two months.
In January vandals struck at the Notts Golf Club – also known as Holinwell – near Kirkby-in-Ashfield, causing £40,000 damage.
Staff are now ‘heartbroken’ it’s happened again, after discovering fresh damage on Sunday.
“Bikes have again come across a hole and along a fairway – basicially what they’ve done is another significant amount of damage,” said course manager Phil Stain.
“It is now going to affect the long-term income of the club.”
Most of the new damage has now been tidied up, but a farmer’s field next to the course was also ridden over, wrecking crops.
The severe damage in January has still not been fully repaired and the hole may not be playable until mid-June.

Police are investigating but club officials say they fear more incidents because the size of the course makes it almost impossible to keep secure.
Club captain Stewart England said: “I can’t understand why people would want to do such gratuitous damage to a property that’s not theirs, for no apparent reason whatsoever.
“We are unable to stop them. It’s hundreds of acres – we don’t have the ability to have manpower wandering around all the time.”
Holinwell are urging those who live nearby to keep an eye out for bikes.
Notts Police say they have deployed extra patrols around the club since January, including officers from the off-road motorcycle unit.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Since these incidents were initially reported, the Neighbourhood Policing Team has been conducting proactive patrols around the golf course at key times, and has arranged for the police Off-Road motorcycle unit to take part.
“Although no arrests have been made, warning notices have been issued to individuals who have been seen riding motorbikes in an anti-social manner in the area. If they are found to be riding in that manner again, we have the power to seize their motorcycle.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 or to message the Kirkby-in-Ashfield north Neighbourhood Policing Team’s Facebook page, quoting incident number 259 of February 29.
