Police hunt driver who hit pedestrian, then punched him

A driver who is said to have punched a pedestrian after hitting him with his car is being hunted by police.

The collision is said to have happened close to the the Co-op Superstore in Stanton Hill, at about 4.15pm on Tuesday, January 19.

The suspect was driving a small red vehicle towards the High Street exit.

The victim has since been to hospital after suffering injuries to his arm from the assault.

Notts Police are appealing for witnesses to help identify the car that the suspect was driving.
