Notts Police have released an image of a white van they want to speak to the driver of following an assault in Carlton.
Police believe the driver witnessed an assault at around 5pm on Friday January 20 where a 55-year-old man was attacked by three other men opposite the Esso petrol station on Westdale Lane.
He was knocked into the road and the van had to break sharply.
The van stopped further down the road when a man got out of the vehicle and shouted at the men involved who then left in a silver coloured car.
The van in the photo is small with signage on the back and sides; if you recognise it or have any other information that could help you are asked to contact Notts Police on 101 quoting incident number 639 of January 20.
