Wollaton Hall and Deer Park will see increases to parking charges for the first time in six years

Parking charges are set to increase at Wollaton Hall and Deer Park next month for the first time in six years.

The charges will rise from Wednesday (August 2) by £1 – parking for up to three hours will now cost £3 and an all day ticket will cost £5.

Nottingham City Council say revenue from the parking charges is used to maintain the Park and has helped fund improvements to the site.

Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture Councillor Dave Trimble said: “The small increase in parking charges has been made alongside consultation with users on improvements they would like to see in the park.

“The additional funds from parking mean we can continue with our plans to improve facilities at Wollaton for the many visitors who love coming to the site.”
