Chilwell’s Philip George was denied a BRIT Award by the all-conquering Adele at the O2 in London on Wednesday night.
But the 22-year-old can still count the night among the highlights of his career so far, after tweeting pictures from the red carpet and going up against the best in the business.
George, a house producer, was nominated for the best single award for his debut effort ‘Wish you were mine’.

But he missed out to singer Adele, who won with Hello, and was the star of the night with four prizes including best British female solo artist and best album.
The future remains bright for George though, with his single ‘Feel This Way’ out this week.
