In Pictures: Jerry Green aiming to re-home neglected pups this Christmas

A Nottinghamshire animal shelter is launching its Christmas appeal to help it re-home neglected puppies.

The Jerry Green Rescue Centre in Blidworth has recently been full to the rafters with unwanted puppies.

Christmas is the centre’s busiest time of the year but the over-breeding is causing the puppies to lack training and therefore become harder to re-home.

Jerry Green has launched its shoebox appeal where the public donate boxes of treats, for the dogs in the kennels on Christmas day to open.

See our photo gallery of some of the pups looking for a new home in time for Christmas and watch Notts TV news from 5.30pm on Thursday, December 3 for a full report of the appeal.
